We had a good time at the Lake last week, but it was definitely different from those days Pre Kids! Definitely not as relaxing as usual, but I guess that's to be expected. :-)
The weather was gorgeous for the most part, but REALLY hot the first day. Our place didn't have A/C so we really had to hunker down in survival mode to make it through that first night! The girls slept in their diapers, we had fans going and I put some wet washcloths on their backs to try and keep them cool. We made it through, but man that was a LONG night!
The girls really like being around people -- so much that they started cooing while we were there! I think they wanted to say something and make their voices heard too!
We're heading to the beach this weekend - the girls will definitely go in the pool at the Fenwick Inn and hopefully will go to the beach if it's not too hot. I bought a tent to protect them from the sun, so hopefully we'll be able to catch some rays...Here are some pics from Deep Creek.

We didn't have a pack and play downstairs, so my mom improvised! Abby is in the drawer, Lily in the broccoli box!
