TGIF!

We had a fun, low key day today! The girls and I went out to my job to visit my co-workers and go to lunch with my long-time colleague/mentor/friend Vicky. She and I met when I went up to interview for my first 'real' job at Nasdaq in New York in 2000. Ever since then, Vicky has been a wonderful mentor to me and a close friend. We work together now in the same department at FINRA. She splits her time in the office between Rockville and New York and spends her weekends in Brooklyn. We could all be so lucky, right?

The girls went to their first sushi restaurant! Vicky and Abby.

Lily jumping into a picture! After lunch, we went to my parent's house for a visit. They have the best toys!!!! Abby in the bumbo, Lily in the exersaucer. Lily looking in the mirror of the Sound Stage toy. Daddy came over later in the afternoon and we went on a walk to the park with my dad and the dogs.
My dad scraping dog poop off the stroller tire!

Does this stroller look precarious to anyone else but me? Especially the front seat - how Abby is kind of just perched there? I call it the death trap! Damn freecycle.Last, a new FREE stroller from one of my co-workers with 4 year old twins. It's a jogger and in great shape! Now, we just need to...uh, jog!
