So, we've joined the bloggers....

Ron and I have finally joined the world of the bloggers! We're looking for a good way to keep our family and friends up to date on our quickly growing family. Since I've never been very good at taking photos or keeping journals, I hope this is an easy way to capture those big and small moments that all parents say go too fast.

An update on our pregnancy....I am 36 weeks pregnant tomorrow, which is considered full-term for twins! That means they are fully developed and that they will likely not need any time in NICU. I've been sooooo lucky to have a healthy, uneventful pregnancy so far. A lot of women pregnant with twins are forced to go on bedrest as early as 25 weeks to prevent pre-term labor and delivery. I guess I was born to breed, because these girls are quite content and haven't given me much trouble. And they are little chunkers! At our last ultrasound, they estimated Baby A weighs 6 1/2 pounds and Baby B is 6 pounds!! That's 12 1/2 pounds of baby!!

Here's a picture of me at one of my baby showers, at about 28 weeks pregnant. We have an important doctor's appointment tomorrow - we're going to talk to the doctor about delivery options and schedule induction or a c-section. One of the babies is breech, so we need to figure out the safest option for me and the girls. Hopefully we'll have our due date tomorrow!

Back to watching the Season Premiere of the Deadliest Catch. It's our favorite show! My fave captain is Phil and the Cornelia Marie crew!! Geeks, aren't we?
