Tuesday morning, Ron went to drop the girls off at day care and found that the Director had quit and the teachers walked out. It was chaotic with kids running around and only the Pastor (it was in the basement of a church) and his daughter to watch the kids!! There's a lot more gory detail, but after a few days I don't really feel like going into it. All that matters is we pulled our girls outta there, got our money back and the State of Maryland revoked their license the next day.
We're so burnt out on all this. My parents graciously agreed to help us out this week by watching the girls and it went better than all of us expected, I think. So, we are going to chill on day care for awhile and pay my family to watch Abby and Lily. There really is no substitute for family raising their kids.
Maybe I'll post more about it later, but at this point, I'm just ready to put it behind us!
