Of course I can't have any day off without jamming at least one errand or chore in, so the first business of the day was the dentist. It's actually not soooooo bad, because my family has been going to the same dentist since 1963. I kid you not! So, Doc and his staff are more like family than a dentist. He's the only dentist I know who wears golf spikes around the office and used to own a night club! Anyway, Martha (the receptionist) watched the girls while I got my teeth cleaned - plus a few of the customers!
Lily in the waiting room, about to carefully pull each ancient Highlights magazine off the table one by one. I don't think another child has been in the waiting room all year!
We arrived in our new wagon. It's totally convenient and comfy for the girls. Less of a pain in the A** than the stroller too! Of course, the girls have their Ritz crackers. Can't go anywhere without the Ritz...
After the dentist, we went to my parents' house then on to Friendly's! We wanted a place with good food and dessert, not too expensive and not crowded - Friendly's fit the bill. The girls were excited to have Uncle Jimmy and Great Grandma Helene to join us!

We enjoyed birthday cake with Daddy that night. Overall, a great, relaxing happy birthday! Mommy and Daddy love you, birthday girls!
