We had gorgeous weather last weekend! I love that we can get around a little easier now that the girls are walking. (Okay, I wasn't thinking that today at Blockbuster, when Abby walked down the length of a shelf and knocked off 298 DVDs). Oh well, I don't give a crap. I worked there in high school and hated it!Anyway, last Saturday I was planning to take the girls to the National Zoo. Genne's company was hosting a family picnic and it seemed like a fun time. We woke up Saturday and the weather was great, but......I was ZONKED. I've been taking a class full-time for the last week and commuting 4 hours per day. By the time Saturday rolled around, the thought of going into DC again was nauseating. So, we changed plans and I decided to head to Centennial Lake Park with the girls. Then, by the time the girls were up from their nap, even the idea of getting in the car was too tiring! So, I decided to load up the wagon with some toys, drinks and a blanket and headed off to the park that's about 2 minutes from our house....lol. A good time was had by all!! Sometimes it's totally necessary to just take it easy.....ahhhhh, the sunshine felt so good!
At the park. I tied their birthday elmo balloon (I swear that balloon won't die) to the wagon and Abby kept chasing it around!
My sweet Lil. What a pretty girl.
The setup. I carefully looked for a spot on the field with a 20 foot radios of a poop-free zone!
The girls are such crazy walkers - they even run sometimes!

"Mama, we're thirsty!!!"
Abby stealing Lily's cookie. This is a frequent occurrence. We have no idea how to discipline her, except to distract her and give her another one. Any other ideas?
