We had a fun weekend this 4th of July. We spent Wednesday and Thursday nights running around looking at boats (when we should have been getting ready for our party!) and had a few friends over for the 4th. The evening of the 4th didn't end so well, as Ron had to take our dog Dunkin to the 24-hour ER vet. He was making these terrible dry heaving noises all day and by 9:30 that night, we figured we better call! Turns out the poor guy has Kennel Cough! We have no idea how he got it, since he was vaccinated for it, but he'll be fine after his medicine is gone. He is on doggy quarantine for the next couple weeks though. :( For people at our party, don't worry - you can't pass kennel cough to your dog because you were around Dunkin. We asked the vet!!
In other topics, the girls are getting so big and are FUN. They are starting to grin at us now and do some really cute things. Plus, their sleeping is getting better every day, so I think (hope) we're past the hardest part of having newborns!! Here are a bunch of pics, since I haven't posted any in awhile!
