A-Put one baby in car seat in the top of the cart and put the other baby in the basket with the groceries (leaving you almost no room for actual groceries), or
B-Pull stroller with babies in it and push the stroller in front of you.
However, I really needed to hit the store so I ventured to Giant with the babies in tow. So I wouldn't look like TOO much of a traveling circus, I opted for option A (see picture above). It actually worked perfectly until checkout. I was able to buy an impressive load of $120 worth of groceries, I was only stopped about 3 or 4 times by strangers to talk about twins (seriously, that's a good day!) and no babies cried, even though Lily, who had the cheap seat on bottom, was surrounded by yogurt, lean cuisines and hamburger. But once I checked out I realized all my groceries wouldn't fit in bags with the babies in the cart, so I did have to resort to the damn push / pull method (see picture below). Oh, well - the grocery mission was successful!!

Hi, I followed you over here from the nest and have to say I am impressed. It is good to venture out early. Just yesterday I was doing the push stroller and pull cart thing and realized that I was having a really difficult time with it. It suddenly occured to me that I was pushing a lot of baby around (appx 45 lbs.)unlike at the beginning :) I was very thankful when the kind bagger offered to push my cart out to my car. Anyways, the girls are beautiful and congrats!!!
Please tell me the cashier/bagger asked if you wanted help to your car!?! I always load up as much as I can and enjoy the sweet luxury of having someone else put my groceries in the car while I load up the kiddos.

I did a solo grocery run last week and I carried Fiona in the bjorn and Ashlyn got to ride in the cart. It actually worked out pretty well.
