A Day in the Life...
People always ask me how we manage to take care of twins and how we must have so many pictures of them being cute together. I realized I don't really talk much here about the day-to-day. So, while I've been off work, here's how a day typically goes. The girls are sleeping from about 10:30pm - 4am, have a bottle, then go back to sleep until somewhere between 7 and 8am. This is how I typically find the girls in the morning. They always scoot together until their heads are touching. Yes, I sometimes let them sleep on their tummies -- don't judge!
This is how Abby looked the other day after I let her sleep in - until 10:00!! I told her she's got a little of her Uncle Jimmy in her!!
S-T-R-E-T-C-H!!
Then it's time for our morning bottles. I usually feed them at the same time in their bouncy seats.
This is what we call "formula coma" after an especially delicious bottle!
Then we get dressed for the day, including accessories. (Thanks for the headbands, Mary!)
Time to play! The girls sort of like their swing now, although they are always very skeptical and creeped out by the circling animals above!
Sometime in the late afternoon, we get strapped into our stroller and take Dunkin for a walk, then throw the pigskin around. Okay, everything was true but that last part. :)
Our new stroller - it's called the Double City Mini, but it's not so "mini"!!
After our walk, we wait for Ron to come home, eat dinner, read books then it's off to bed. They've gotten much better about going down in their cribs easily, but sometimes we'd do what we had to do to get some rest!
That's a day in the life of the Barbagallo Babes!
