Lily visiting with Heather. We are one day older than her daughter, Nora! Her over achieving baby can already sit and crawl!! :)

After lunch, we went and looked at the exhibits. We saw an old WWII Jeep and the original Star Spangled Banner (sorry for the poor quality photo - camera phone in a dim room where flash photography wasn't allowed).

The visit was fun and relaxed up until we tried to leave. I ran out to my car in the rain while Ron stayed in the lobby with the girls. I realized that I had left my lights on, the battery was dead AND my key fob couldn't get me into my car. Turns out the key I use to start the car doesn't open the doors - who knew?????? Luckily, roadside assistance saved the day. I took the Jeep home with the girls and Ron was left to deal with our mess. What an adventure!!Ron just after discovering the dead-battery-no-keys situation (eek)

We waited for Roadside Assistance with King Gambrinus, the Patron Saint of Beer!
