Halloween at the Barbagallo's

We had a peaceful Halloween today. Well, up until the moment we tried to leave for trick-or-treating. The stroller was in my car and we couldn't find my keys for like 20 minutes. Then, when we finally got the girls in the stroller, they were NOT in the mood to be strapped in - bah! Ron and I ended up each carrying a baby around to houses in our neighborhood. Our good friend Laurie and her yorkie, Lex (dressed as a rooster), came over to walk around with us. We also ended up walking around with our neighbor and her 1 1/2 yo son, Matthus, dressed as a spider. (Lily isn't really eating the Twizzler in the pic, of course.) Lily fell asleep on me within 10 minutes and Abby was asleep by the time we got home.

I only got one photo of both girls in their costumes, then a bunch at the house after. We put the girls in their costumes right before trick-or-treating, because I didn't want them to get tired of the outfits, then we had said find-the-car-keys drama. I'm going to try to dress the girls up again today and get some pictures when they are in better moods and it's light outside!
Abby is the cheese, Lily the mouse

Checking out the loot afterwards

Everybody relaxing after our trip around the neighborhood

Lily slurping on Abby's fingers. Her little black nose and whiskers were so darn cute!

Abby really enjoyed the clothing part of her cheese costume. It was actually a chicken costume we got at a consignment shop. We just folded the chicken head in so nobody saw it!

Happy Halloween!

And Mommy got a new haircut today. I needed it!!

Cute hair!! I really need to get mine cut too. And super cute costumes. What a good idea! I chuckled when I saw you had chosen a mouse and cheese. What fun!
